Are you interested in creating an account on the patient portal myInsel? Would you like to access the patient records of your child, spouse, or friend who is currently being treated at the Insel Gruppe? We are happy to help you get started with myInsel.

Registration for myInsel

You must register before you can use myInsel. This is the only way we can ensure that data protection regulations are complied with and that your account can be linked to the correct patient record.

In order for us to verify your identity during the registration process, please have your social security number and ID or passport ready. Thank you.

What happens next?

After registration, please follow these steps:

1.
Registration is being verified

We will review your registration for myInsel within 1 to 3 business days. If all the necessary criteria are met and all the required information has been provided, we will activate your account.

2.
Activation link will be sent

After successful identification, you will receive your myInsel activation link by SMS or email.

3.
Activate account

Please use this activation link to activate your account.

Future logins

With the login details you created during activation, you can now log in to myInsel anytime, anywhere.

You no longer need the activation link to do this.

Your data is safe with us.

Once your account has been activated, two-factor authentication will be requested each time you log in to myInsel to increase your personal data security.

Access & approvals

After activating your account, you can grant or request the desired access rights in the myInsel menu:

 

Sharing Hub myInsel (only in German)
  1. Would you like to grant someone access to your patient record?
    Once activated, share access to your record (e.g., with your spouse or friends) in the Sharing Hub (logged in to the myInsel menu).
     
  2. Would you like to access the patient records of relatives or friends?
    After activation, ask the person in question to share their records with you in the Sharing Hub (logged in to the myInsel menu).
     
  3. Would you like to access your child's patient record as a parent?
    After activation, request access to your child's record in the «Ask a Question» section (logged in to the myInsel menu).
    Parents and legal guardians are generally entitled to access their children's record until their 12th birthday.

Consent forms

Grant your general practitioner or other healthcare providers access to your patient record directly in myInsel. Alternatively, you can find the declaration of consent for use of the InselLink referral portal as a form here:
