The myInsel patient portal is also available for children and young people. An exception applies for children between the ages of 12 and 16.
On March 2, 2025, the Insel Gruppe will look back on the first year of Epic – a year full of important developments in the digital transformation of our hospital. The launch of the new Epic hospital information system was a success, and we now have a system that is well implemented technically and runs smoothly.

Stay in the know with myInsel
myInsel is both a patient portal and an application that allows you, as a patient, to access your own health information anytime, anywhere. Via myInsel, for example, you can also view future and past appointments at the Insel Gruppe, as well as reports or prescribed medication. Further functions are listed below. The patient portal is constantly being developed, and new functions are gradually being added.
myInsel replaces Evita, and its functionality extends far beyond the previous solution: the patient file with all treatment information from the Insel Gruppe is collected in one place in Epic, and can therefore be made available to the individual patient in myInsel.
All patients are free to use the patient portal. Patients themselves are responsible for registration.

Find comprehensive and clearly organised information relating to your treatment at our clinics in one place.
View the clinical documentation from your visits to the Insel Gruppe: findings, laboratory or test results, ultrasound and X-ray images, etc.
Manage your treatment appointments with the Insel Gruppe conveniently and easily online.
Get access to reports and medication lists that are only authorised for you when you leave hospital.
If you wish, you can grant your next of kin access to your treatment information in myInsel.

Your treatment information belongs to you. As a hospital, we are obliged to provide you with access to your patient file at all times – with myInsel, you can now do this conveniently online.
Use of the myInsel patient portal is basically open to all Insel Gruppe patients. To open a myInsel account, you’ll have to register first.

myInsel and Epic: How are they related?
myInsel is Epic's patient portal. The portal gives patients access to their personal patient file in Epic.
Epic is the Insel Gruppe's new hospital information and management system, in which all patient-centered treatment data is centrally documented in a patient file.
