Registering on my-insel.ch

To use myInsel, two main steps – one of which depends on the other – are required: 1. Registration with official identification document and 2. activating myInsel access.

1. Visit website

  • Visit the registration page via this link
  • Or click on «Registration» at the top right of the current page. 

2. Start registration

Click on the «Registration» button in the top right-hand corner. You can now choose between two options:

  • Own file: Select this option if you want to access your own patient file.
  • File of a relative or person in care: Select this option if you want to request access to another person’s file.

 

3. Fill in the registration form

  • The registration form opens. Fill it in carefully.
  • Enter your personal information, such as first name, surname, address, date of birth and email address.
  • Make sure that your OASI number is entered correctly. This number is required to confirm your identity.

4. Upload identification images

In the last step of the registration form, you need to upload three images for identification purposes:

  • Front of your ID or passport: Take a photo of the front of your official ID document.
  • Reverse of your ID or passport: Take a picture of the reverse of your ID or passport.
  • Selfie with ID: Take a photo of yourself (selfie) holding your ID in your hand. In this photo, both your face and the identification document must be clearly recognisable.

5. Submit form

  • Carefully double-check all information entered and uploaded documents.
  • Read the privacy policy and tick the checkbox. 
  • Then click «Submit» to send the registration form to myInsel for review.

 

6. Receiving an activation link

  • Once your identity has been verified, you will receive an activation link by e-mail or SMS.

 

Registration is now complete. Continue with the activation.
